A lovely evening for a Summer BBQ
The Bracknell Amateur Radio Club Summer BBQ has become a well loved annual event. As the club grows in membership the BBQ has become a major social occassion for us all. It is also an opportunity to meet each others partners, who to be honest, have to listen to us talking radio on a daily basis.
The BBQ was again hosted by Martin 2E0XBZ and wife Shirley who have very kindly hosted the evening in their beautiful garden for the last few years. On behalf of all of us at the club, I would like to express our thanks for all the preparation and hard work that Martin and Shirley put into this special event and also to their son Steven who did all the cooking for us this year.
It was a lovely warm evening so we all had lots of time to enjoy the food and cold drinks, while catching-up with good friends.
