Dave Sugden Trophy 2026 – A Joint Award

The BARC Dave Sugden Memorial Trophy is awarded annually to a Club Member in recongnition of their help, time and commitment to the Club and its Members.

For the very first time, the Club’s Executive Committee could really not choose between two members that have both been key to the clubs expansion and succes in so many areas of our activity during 2025.

So, for the first time of this special award, the Dave Sugden Trophy was awarded jointly to both Paul M9XPN and Paul G4HLF during our 2026 Annual General Meeting.

The hard work, time, planning and activity that both Pauls’ have dedicated to the club throughout the year has been incredible, resulting in success in all they have initiated.

This is the second time that Paul G4HLF has recieved the trophy. Paul was also awarded the honor in 2002 for his work on the GB3BN Bracknell UHF Repeater.

On behalf of the Executive Committee and all of our club members, I would like to thank them both for everything that have achieved for us.
