Loddon District Explorers – Valentines Build Project

​We had a fantastic evening supporting the Loddon District Explorers with a special Valentine’s electronics build. With 24 amazing young people taking on the challenge of building their own LED Hearts.

With a little practise, soldering skills were soon developed and the soldering of the LEDs to the board was quickly mastered with consistent quality joints. It was fantastic to see the boards light-up for the first time.

Events such as these may appear simple, but contribute to STEM learning and the aquasition and development of future skills.

A ​Huge thanks to the Explorer leadership team for organizing such a great session. ​When the explorers were asked if they’d like to do something similar again, it was a unanimous YES!
