Members’ Showcase: An Evening of Ingenuity and Innovation

Our September meeting was an interesting departure from our usual format, transforming into an open showcase where members proudly presented their latest creations. And wow, did they deliver!

It was inspiring to see the incredible ingenuity and knowledge within our club. From intricate designs built from scratch to meticulously assembled kits, the passion for amateur radio construction was palpable.

It was clear that for many, the joy of building is a huge part of the hobby and often the best way to get the exact piece of equipment needed for the job.

The open format was a massive hit, fostering lively discussions as members gathered around each other’s work, delving into design choices, construction techniques, and sharing valuable tips. The air was buzzing with conversation and camaraderie.

We were thrilled to see our largest attendance of the year, a testament to the enthusiasm for this special event. A huge thank you to everyone who brought their amazing builds along to share with us. It truly was a fun, fascinating, and incredibly inspiring evening!
