McMichael Radio Rally and Electronics Fair 2023

This year Bracknell ARC attended the McMichael Radio Rally, an annual large event in the Amateur Radio calendar. Held at the Reading Rugby Club between Reading and Sonning, the event covers several Rugby Pitches.

Given the weather for the week leading up to this years event, with unseasonal rain and wind forecast, it was great to see over 75 Traders and Sellers and some 420 Amateur Radio enthusiasts attend the event.

This was the first time that Bracknell ARC Members had been part of the Rally Organising Committee and helpers for the event, together with members of Reading and District and Burnham Beeches Radio Clubs.

Alison G8ROG joined us at the event together with BATC and transmitted the GB2RS News Broadcast live from the Rally. Alison also kindly picked and announced the winning Rally Raffle Tickets.

Thanks to everyone that was part of this years event, Traders/Sellers, Visitors, Helpers, Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue and the Reading Rugby Club Staff.
