BARC’s first Club Chairman, Les Parry G8AMK rejoins after 52years.

It was with great surprise that when responding to a membership enquiry entered via our Website I found myself communicating with our Club’s founder member and very first Chairman, Les Parry G8AMK. Les first setup the Bracknell Club in 1971 together with Graham G4DDN and others.

Les has now located back in the UK and contacted us to ask how he could rejoin the Club! Les came along to our September meeting where he was greeted by a number of long term members who were familiar faces to Les.
