Honorary Membership award 2022
The BARC Annual General Meeting offers Club Members and the Committee the opportunity to nominate long standing active members of the Club for Honorary Membership status.
During our 2022 AGM on January 12, the BARC Committee were proud to announce that honorary membership was to be awarded to John Ellerton G3NCN, for his long standing membership and involvement and commitment to CW Training.
John has also been awarded the Annual David Sugden Memorial Trophy on two occasions during his membership, Initially in 2000 for his work on the Skymiser HF antenna and again in 2009 for his Morse Training work.
More recently John visited Bletchley Park with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission where he made a short film about one of the radios on display, the B2 MkII Spy Set. The video can be viewed HERE.
